Question 1

How are deliveries handled at local professional offices and medical suites?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to professional complexes require a specific suite number and the name of the office or department at checkout. Most of these low-rise buildings have a central reception desk that accepts deliveries for employees. Providing a direct phone number helps the driver navigate multi-tenant buildings with shared entrances.

Question 2

How does the city's layout affect the way flowers are delivered?

Accepted Answer

Flowers are hand-delivered to account for the mix of residential streets and gated complexes in the area. If the delivery is to a gated community, you must provide the entry code or instructions for the security gate. Specifying if there is a side-door or porch preference is helpful for homes with long driveways or deep setbacks.

Question 3

What occurs if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery?

Accepted Answer

For residential deliveries, flowers may be left with a neighbor or in a sheltered area if the recipient is not home. At office buildings, the driver will leave the arrangement with a receptionist or at a designated delivery station. Providing a mobile number for the recipient helps the driver resolve access issues at locked building entries or apartment complexes.
