Flower Delivery in Glenwood, GA

Two federal highways explain Glenwood's placement in southern Wheeler County, where US 280 and US 221 cross near the Little Ocmulgee River. Alamo holds the county courthouse and the county hospital a few miles northwest, Mount Vernon and the Brewton-Parker College campus are the next stop east, and Lumber City, McRae-Helena and Vidalia complete the set of towns on the shared routes. The Glenwood City Cemetery off 4th Street and the two funeral homes on Third Street are the town's civic fixtures. Orders reaching the shop before 2:00 PM go out on that day's run, and same-day flower delivery covers Glenwood, Alamo and the Mount Vernon side of the county. Each order is hand-arranged by a local florist partner in the county. Delivery routes cover Wheeler County Hospital on Southeast Broad Street in Alamo, Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia when a patient is sent to the larger unit, Glenwood Health and Rehabilitation on South Third Street, and services at Lowery's Funeral Home or Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service in town. With a population in the hundreds, most orders here are for someone the sender has known their whole life. Teleflora's Hummingbird Surprise Bouquet at $69.99 is bright and inexpensive enough for a birthday or a new-baby visit. Teleflora's Peaceful Clouds Bouquet at $84.99 is the restrained white arrangement families ask for when the occasion is a loss rather than a celebration. Teleflora's Rose Classique - Dozen Red Roses at $89.99 delivers a dozen red roses, the standard answer for an anniversary. The 7-day freshness guarantee holds for a full week after arrival, replacement included. Funeral flowers go out against the hour the family was given, whether the service is at the city cemetery or Edge Cemetery outside town. Wheeler County addresses, plus the Alamo and Vidalia stops, are set out in the verified destinations directory on this page for anyone placing a Glenwood florist order from out of town.
