Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to medical centers and historic downtown buildings?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to the historic multi-story buildings and local medical centers require a specific room, wing, or suite number. At checkout, provide the department name for medical facilities to ensure the driver can navigate the internal corridors and find the correct reception desk. This information prevents flowers from being left at unattended public side entrances common in these larger properties.

Question 2

How will my flowers be delivered given the city's hilly terrain?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to ensure they remain upright and stable while navigating the steep hills and narrow residential streets. Drivers walk the flowers directly to the door to accommodate the uneven stone porches and sloped entryways found at many local homes. Providing details about long driveways or side-street access helps the driver find the safest path to the front door.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or the building is secured?

Accepted Answer

For detached homes, drivers look for a sheltered spot on the porch to protect the flowers from the wind common on elevated residential lots. For secured historic apartment buildings without a front desk, the driver will call the recipient to coordinate entry or a safe drop-off point. Providing a secondary phone number for the recipient helps the driver resolve access issues at properties with locked gates or key-code entries.
