Question 1

How does delivery work for hospitals, funeral homes, and offices in Effingham?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries in this town are made to single-story residential homes and small-scale administrative buildings with direct street access. When sending to the local school district offices, you must provide the specific room or department number at checkout. This allows the delivery person to identify the correct entrance in the compact central grid.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered and how does the city layout affect the drop-off?

Accepted Answer

All flowers are hand-delivered to the door rather than shipped in a box. Because this area consists of open-access properties without gated entries or high-rise security, items are brought directly to the front porch or main business desk. Providing notes on whether a side door or main street entrance is preferred helps avoid confusion at homes located very close to the sidewalk.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not home, the arrangement is left on a sheltered porch or with a neighbor if the house is close to the street. If a specific flower is not in stock, it is replaced with a similar stem of equal value. Including the recipient’s phone number is helpful for properties located on the unlit edges of town where house numbers can be difficult to see from the road.
