Flower Delivery in Durham, CT

For one long weekend each September the Durham Fair fills the fairgrounds off Main Street, and the rest of the year this Middlesex County town of roughly 7,000 stays farm country. The Coginchaug River runs north through the middle of it, Allyn Brook Park holds the ball fields, and Coginchaug Regional High School on Pickett Lane draws students from Middlefield as well. Route 17 and Route 68 cross in the center, linking Durham with Middletown, Wallingford, Guilford and Killingworth. Place an order before 2:00 PM and it is on that day's route, which is how same-day flower delivery works for addresses spread along Wallingford Road, Higganum Road and the lanes off Route 68. Delivery routes cover the town center, the neighborhoods above the green and the farm roads on the Middlefield line, then run into Middletown, where deliveries reach Middlesex Health and the rehabilitation residences near South Main Street. Orders out of Durham lean seasonal, which suits a town built around a fair. Teleflora's Hummingbird Surprise Bouquet at $69.99 brings bright color for a birthday at a Main Street table or a new neighbor settling in off Route 79. Teleflora's Sunny Day Pitcher of Sunflowers at $84.99 stands sunflowers in a ceramic pitcher, a favorite for teacher thank-yous at Brewster Elementary and for farm stand anniversaries. When a service is held at a Durham church, Teleflora's Hearts In Heaven Bouquet at $89.99 is the standing choice for funeral flowers, arranged by a local florist partner and delivered ahead of the hour. A 7-day freshness guarantee covers every arrangement, and a Durham florist inspects and re-cuts the stems before the box closes. The addresses that matter here, the schools, the Middlesex County funeral homes and the senior residences in Middletown, are already logged in our verified destinations directory, so the route is set before the order is.
