Question 1

How does delivery work for hospitals, the university, or secured buildings in Durant?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to the regional medical campus or the university require a specific building name, department, or dormitory name at checkout. These details are necessary because these properties use central receiving desks or mailrooms rather than allowing direct access to individual rooms. Providing the specific floor or wing ensures the driver finds the correct entrance for these large campuses.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered and how does the city layout affect the arrival?

Accepted Answer

Flowers are hand-delivered to homes and businesses to accommodate the city's mix of open residential streets and main commercial corridors. For properties with security gates or keypad entries found in newer housing developments, you must provide the access code in your delivery instructions. This allows the driver to reach the front door directly rather than leaving the order at a perimeter gate.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not there or a flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is unavailable, the driver leaves the flowers in a secure porch area at residences or with a front desk attendant at professional offices. When a specific bloom is unavailable, it is replaced with a flower of equal value that matches the original color and size. Including a recipient phone number helps the driver navigate the multi-building layouts common to the city's medical and academic centers.
