Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to the community college campus and rural residential addresses in Dryden?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the multi-building college campus, you must provide the specific building name and room number as there is no central receiving for personal items. For residential deliveries on outlying roads, include the house color or mailbox number to help drivers identify homes set far back from the main road. These details ensure the driver finds the correct entrance in areas where house numbers are not always visible.

Question 2

Are flowers shipped in a box or delivered by hand across the town and village?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to accommodate the specific porch layouts and long driveways common in this rural area. Drivers navigate unpaved private roads and village streets to place the flowers directly at the door. Providing specific instructions for gate access or side-door placement helps the driver complete the delivery without delays.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or if a specific flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If a recipient is unavailable at a college dorm or secured apartment building, the driver follows the specific entry protocols for that facility's service desk. For rural homes, the driver will look for a weather-protected porch or contact the recipient via the phone number you provide. If a specific flower is out of stock, a similar variety is used to maintain the same size and shape of the original arrangement.
