Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to hospitals or offices in Cromwell?

Accepted Answer

Most locations in this town are open-access residential properties or small administrative buildings. Provide the specific building name and a description of the entry if the structure is set back from the main rural road. These details help the driver identify the correct property in areas where street numbers are not clearly visible from the street.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered given the town's layout?

Accepted Answer

Flowers are hand-delivered to accommodate the wide spacing between properties and the lack of central mail rooms. Include information about long driveways or unpaved access points at checkout to ensure the driver can reach the front door. Hand delivery is used for all orders to navigate the town's low-density residential streets.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not available at a rural property?

Accepted Answer

If no one is home, the driver looks for a shaded area on the porch or contacts a nearby neighbor to accept the gift. When a specific flower is unavailable, the arrangement is completed with similar blooms that maintain the original scale and color. Providing a recipient's phone number helps the driver verify the delivery location if the house is obscured by trees or set far back from the road.
