Flower Delivery in College Point, NY

The Poppenhusen Institute has stood on 14th Avenue since Conrad Poppenhusen's hard rubber works employed most of the village, and College Point kept its own tight street grid long after Queens County became part of New York City. MacNeil Park looks across the water toward the Whitestone Bridge, the spire of St. Fidelis marks the middle of the neighborhood, and the College Point Sports Complex and the Whitestone Expressway handle the weekend crowds. Routes here also serve Whitestone, Malba, Flushing, Corona and Bayside. The 2:00 PM order deadline exists for a practical reason: same-day flower delivery has to clear College Point Boulevard and 20th Avenue before the afternoon backup builds. Stops include NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and Flushing Hospital Medical Center, both a few minutes south, along with the walk-up buildings, two-family houses and senior residences between 11th and 23rd Avenues. Orders into College Point often come from relatives elsewhere in the city or out of state, sent for baptisms, graduations and first apartments. The Full Of Love Bouquet at $64.99 is a warm choice for a new baby at home, Teleflora's Marvelous Mosaic Bouquet at $74.99 fits a family dinner or a christening lunch after a service at St. Fidelis, and Make Me Blush - Dozen Long Stemmed Pink Roses at $94.99 is the order for an engagement or a big anniversary in one of the waterfront buildings near MacNeil Park. Every order is hand-arranged by a local florist partner and guaranteed fresh for 7 days. A College Point florist on the network confirms each address against a verified destinations directory of Queens County stops, buzzer codes and building entrances included, and funeral flowers are coordinated with the neighborhood funeral homes and the Flushing chapels families use most.
