Question 1

How do you handle flower deliveries to the government offices and residential areas in Boydton?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to the county administrative offices and government buildings require a specific department name and office number at checkout. These buildings have centralized entrances, so providing a direct desk location ensures the arrangement is not left in a general mailroom. For residential properties on the outskirts of town, please include instructions for navigating long or unpaved driveways.

Question 2

Will my flowers be delivered in a box or by hand, and how does the city layout affect this?

Accepted Answer

All flowers are hand-delivered to the door to accommodate the low-density layout of the town. This method allows the driver to pull directly into residential driveways or use the street-level parking available near the central office blocks. Providing specific gate codes or entry instructions for fenced properties helps prevent access delays.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not there or if a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is not available, the driver will leave the arrangement on a covered porch or in a secure entryway common to the town's residential streets. When a specific flower is unavailable, we use a substitute of equal value that maintains the look of the arrangement. Providing a secondary phone number and a description of the house color helps ensure delivery to rural properties where GPS coordinates may be inaccurate.
