Question 1

How does delivery work for the large academic and administrative complexes in Blacksburg?

Accepted Answer

Deliveries to these campuses require a specific building name and room number because street addresses often lead to general campus entrances. Drivers must navigate pedestrian-heavy zones and restricted vehicle paths to reach specific office or lab desks. Providing the recipient's department name at checkout ensures the driver identifies the correct drop-off point within these multi-use buildings.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to residential and professional buildings with limited access?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to accommodate the mix of secured student housing and administrative offices. Drivers use designated service loading areas to carry flowers directly into buildings that require keycard access for elevators or main halls. Include any necessary gate codes or building entry instructions at checkout to prevent the driver from being blocked at the perimeter.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or a specific flower is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If a recipient in a secured office or lab is unavailable, the driver leaves the arrangement with the departmental receptionist or building lobby staff. When a specific flower is out of stock, we use a similar variety that maintains the original size and shape of the design. Providing a direct phone number for the recipient helps the driver resolve access issues at locked residential courtyards or gated complexes.
