Question 1

How are deliveries handled for different types of addresses in Ashland?

Accepted Answer

In the downtown theater district and on the university campus, deliveries require specific building names and suite or room numbers. For hillside residences with long driveways or hidden entrances, provide clear instructions on where the driver can safely access the property. Entering the recipient’s phone number at checkout allows the driver to coordinate entry into secured housing or campus buildings.

Question 2

How will my flowers be delivered to the recipient?

Accepted Answer

Every order is hand-delivered to navigate the steep terrain and narrow residential streets found throughout the city. This method allows the driver to safely carry arrangements up the many exterior staircases and walkways common in the hillside neighborhoods. Hand delivery ensures the flowers are placed directly at the door of the residence or at a staffed desk in professional buildings.

Question 3

What happens if the delivery cannot be completed as planned?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is unavailable at a residence without a secure lobby, the driver will seek a sheltered area on the porch. For university deliveries, if the student is not present, the arrangement is left with the campus housing office according to their specific protocols. Providing a secondary contact number helps avoid delays caused by restricted access to hillside properties or narrow residential lanes.
