Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to the local college campus and secured apartment buildings?

Accepted Answer

For deliveries to the large academic campus or secured residential halls, drivers deliver directly to central mailrooms or designated front desks. You must provide the recipient’s building name and room number during checkout. These details are required because security protocols in these buildings prevent couriers from accessing individual dorm rooms or private floors.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered to residential streets and commercial blocks in this area?

Accepted Answer

All arrangements are hand-delivered to navigate the mix of multi-story commercial buildings and detached suburban homes. Include any gate codes or instructions for secondary entrances if the property has a locked street-level door. These access details help drivers manage limited street parking and ensure the flowers reach the correct entrance.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is not home or a specific flower is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

If the recipient is away, the driver leaves the flowers with a building manager or on a covered porch at a detached residence. If a specific stem is out of stock, it is replaced with a flower of equal value that matches the original shape and size. Providing a working phone number for the recipient helps the driver resolve access issues with shared entryways or gated driveways.
