Question 1

How do you handle deliveries to the large medical campuses and professional complexes in Albany?

Accepted Answer

These sprawling medical and professional sites require specific wing, department, or suite numbers at checkout to ensure the courier reaches the correct internal desk. Due to the high number of secure entrances and restricted-access wings in these facilities, couriers must leave arrangements with designated reception staff. Providing a specific floor or department name ensures the delivery is accepted by security personnel and directed to the recipient.

Question 2

How are flowers delivered across the city’s mix of dense professional districts and suburban streets?

Accepted Answer

All orders are hand-delivered to accommodate the transition from the concentrated downtown professional center to the low-density residential outskirts. Couriers navigate long driveways and gated community entrances to place arrangements directly at the door or with a building attendant. Entering a gate code or specific porch location at checkout prevents the courier from being turned away at secured residential access points.

Question 3

What happens if the recipient is unavailable or the delivery site has access restrictions?

Accepted Answer

If a recipient is not present, the courier will find a shaded, secure location or leave the arrangement with a nearby neighbor. When a specific flower is out of stock, a substitution of equal value is used to keep the arrangement’s original size and color profile. Including the recipient’s phone number allows the courier to coordinate entry for deliveries to gated apartment complexes or multi-building office sites.
